Oregon State University
	After strongly feeling the need for a change of scenery, during my sophomore year in college I participated in a National Student Exchange program to attend Oregon State University for a year (after which I would return to my home school, UAF, and the classes would transfer). A high school friend of mine, Bryan Bowyer, did the exchange program the same year and we were roommates in the dorms there. OSU was a great experience, and I made a lot of new friends there. Perhaps my closest group of friends were members of the OSU Marching Band; after insanely long practices and many road trips together, we became like family. Coincidentally, three friends of mine from Fairbanks were also attending OSU the same year: Todd Shecter, Glenn Ott, and Rhett Randall. Here are some pics of the OSU Marching Band.
