On 7/28/01 I went to UCLA to see both semifinal matches of the Mercedes-Benz Cup Tennis Tournament. This was the first time I had ever seen the pros play in person. Most of the big players were there including Agassi, Sampas, Kuerten, Safin, Roddick, Malisse, and some has-beens like Chang. I saw 2 great matches: Agassi vs. Kuerten and Sampras vs. Malisse. Agassi and Sampras made it into the final.
