I worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) during the summer of '01 as a "temporary employee", where I continued my Master's research work. As part of NASA's X2000 initiative, I worked on developing testbenches and unique test algorithms for various new non-volatile memories. I had an apartment in Pasadena, but I went into tourist mode all around southern California on the weekends.
